Looking to dive into the world of furniture painting? Our Painting Skills Workshop is the perfect introduction! With a practical, hands-on tutorial approach, you’ll gain the confidence to develop your own unique upcycling style. Our small, informal groups allow for plenty of idea exchange, and with expert guidance every step of the way, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and perfect your skills as you transform your furniture.

During the workshop, we’ll cover everything from prepping your piece, selecting colours, and blending techniques, to creating textures, finishes, and overall design ideas. By the end of the day, you’ll be brimming with inspiration for future home projects and proud of the piece you’ve brought back to life.

What can you expect?

Expect a full day of hands-on learning, creativity, and inspiration!  It’s a relaxed, friendly environment – one that’s fun and interactive too.  With so much to cover, the day flies by, but you’ll leave feeling accomplished, energised, and ready to apply everything you’ve learned at home.

Come prepared for a day that’s as rewarding as it is enjoyable!

What you need to bring:

All you need to bring is a small piece of furniture (e.g., a chair, bedside table, or occasional table) to makeover.  Don’t have a piece? No problem! Let us know at least 10 days in advance, and we’ll provide one for a small additional cost.

My workshops are all about creativity and fun—no stuffy classrooms here, just a relaxed environment, great conversation, and lots of refreshments and treats to fuel your creative journey!
