Furniture Painting Skills

Our Painting Skills tutorial workshop is a great introduction to furniture painting.  Our  practical approach means you will gain confidence in developing you own style to upcycling.  Our groups are small and informal, enabling ideas exchange and giving you lots of opportunity to ask questions whilst we show and guide you through your furniture makeover.

During the 4-hour session we’ll cover topics from preparation, colour choices, blending, textures and finishes to design ideas, painting techniques and skills.   At the end of the workshop you will be inspired with lots of ideas for future home projects.

All you need to bring is a small piece of furniture (eg, chair, bedside table or occasional table) and we will provide all the tools and paint you need, and tea and cake!  If you don’t have a piece, don’t worry we can provide one for you at an extra cost but you would need to let us know at least 7 days before.

Please note if you need to cancel then we do require 10 days notice prior to the tutorial start date.  In this case we can transfer your booking to an alternative date or offer a full refund.  If less than 10 days notice then we are unable to offer a refund but we would be happy to book you onto an alternative date.
