1:1 Decorative Furniture Art

£165.00

Our 1:1 workshops are tailored to specifically to you and give you the opportunity to learn so much more.  This workshop is for those who already have some experience of painting furniture and want to take their creative journey to the next level.  Our  hands-on practical approach means you will gain confidence in exploring different ways to decoratively upcycle your piece of furniture using mixed media – there is a plethora of materials and tools available for you to try and use.

Unlike our group sessions, our 1:1’s  also include sales and business advice, and subsequent access to a support group.  Alongside learning advanced decorative methods, you’ll also receive practical advice on how to market, stage, and present your furniture for sale. Whether you’re considering upcycling as a side hustle or a full-time business, this session will equip you with the tools and confidence to take your work to the next level.

We’ll cover a range of decoupage options alongside blending techniques that will help you create your piece of art.  At the end of the workshop you will be inspired with lots of ideas for future home and commercial projects.

All you need to bring is a small piece of furniture (eg, chair, bedside table or occasional table) that has already been prepped and we will provide all the tools and materials you need, including lunch and refreshments!

Materials available will include a choice of:

  • 1 x A4 Decoupage paper (to be chosen in advance)
  • Other decoupage materials
  • Decorative furniture transfers
  • Paint inlays
  • A plethora of stencils
  • Paint and finishing products
  • Gold, silver, copper metal leaf

Please note if you need to cancel then we do require 14 days notice prior to the tutorial start date.  In this case we can transfer your booking to an alternative date.  Full terms here.
